Vintage Kitchen or Bathroom Antique Lighting Fixture with Original Shell Shade

Item Code: WAL20120704001
Sold
Year : 1930-1940
Another great example of the style and design coming out of the Art Deco movement of the early 1930s. Stylized Scallop shell with 3 lines of stylized waves adorn the front of the original shade. The rounded corners, both top and sides, (with the waves wrapping around) are another common design element of the Deco era. The white porcelain back also has set of 3 steps creating a commonality with the wave lines in the shade. Both the glass shade and the porcelain back are in remarkable condition with no noticeable chips and no cracks. 2 bulb socket ( 60 watts max each) can be controlled by the porcelain pull or a wall switch. The outlets have been disabled for safety concerns.
