Vintage custard glass shade on a signed Beardslee flush mount fixture. The shade has a slight iridescence treatment to it's surface. (Iridescence is created by putting iridium into a kiln with the glass and firing it) The drum shaped glass shade has 4 light green rings which accent the tiers on the glass. The glass does has a slight green tint to it when the light is turned off but has a wonderful warm yellow glow when lit. Image colors are pretty accurate. Lit with 15 watt bulbs in the pictures which do photograph a bit warmer than a higher wattage bulb would look in person. This is very high quality glass.
The high quality solid brass painted vintage ceiling mount, shown in the images, is signed by Beardslee of Chicago. Their logo is a B inside a Fleur de Lei, see image.
Fitter can be painted a different color or can be placed on a pole mount or chain if longer drop is needed. Polished nickel or brushed nickel also available. Change to nickel fitters will be charged at our cost only.
