Uniquely shaped vintage glass shade c.1920s - 30s with 2 Parrots on each of its 4 larger sides. There are two images of two Parrots which repeat on opposite sides of the shade. Between the Parrot panels there is a stylized floral patterns of leaves and a bud. The domed top and bottom are a blue green color as is the drape streamer on the narrow sides with the floral decoration. The background on the large panels is a nice warm cream color and all the edges are outlined with black pin striping. No noticeable chips, no cracks. There is a slight amount of paint loss at the very bottom of the bottom dome.
Shown on a flush mount vintage fitter which has been painted a dark oil rubbed bronze color. The fitter can be painted almost any color or the shade can be mounted on a pole or chain if a longer drop is needed. Any alterations to drop are charged at our cost only.
