The Macbeth-Evans Glassworks was one of the premier glass shade manufacturers in the US during the first quarter of the 20th Century. Best know for their depression glass dinnerware. Their water mark is visible to the eye but difficult to capture with an image. Wonderful cream colored glass shade with a colorful art deco design which is repeated twice around the globe as well as around the bottom. When lit it casts a pleasing warm glow around the room. All the decorations are in excellent condition with very little fading and minimal paint loss. Shown on a vintage all brass ceiling fitter of the same era. Drop as shown: 9 inches. Could be lengthened on a chain or pole fitter is longer drop is needed. Width of shade: 9 inches.
