Massive Spanish Revival Chandelier with Pr Matching Sconces

Item Code: CEI20211013001
Sold
Year : 1920-1930
Priced for the set of chandelier and two sconces.
Attributed to Feldman Co. Los Angeles, circa 1920.
Both chandelier and sconces are cast iron and have been refinished to match original colors. Refinishing included taking the fixtures down to bare metal, sealed with a rust inhibitor primer, given a base coat of hand mixed Spanish Golden paint, this base coat is sealed with clear lacquer, hand mixed red and blue/green accent colors added in the same manner of the original accent colors, and a darker warm glaze covers all pieces giving each design element depth and also giving the finished product a hardened surface which passes the fingernail test.
New mica bottom shade at the inside bottom which gives off a nice warm glow when the lights are on.
So how well does our in house artist match the original I hear you ask? The last image will show the front piece of the sconce with the original and our re-created paint side by side. Also we hand color each of the red tipped candle sleeves to match others we have seen from the same era.
