Copper Porch Light 1920s - 30s.

Item Code: POR20150616001
Sold
Year : 1920-1930
Single only
Shown with original and as found finish and weathered patina with the copper the appropriate green color of verdigris. The back plate, shade top, and shade bottom are all solid copper with the arm from the back plate to the shade made of aluminum, and of course the ribs between each piece of glass being lead. Surprisingly none of the 36 pieces of glass are broken. Each fixture has 12 pieces of original wavy yellow/amber glass.
All 3 have a slightly different weathered patina, as one would expect to see in any fixtures exposed to weather for decades. One has a little dent along the shade rim, probably from an errant baseball.
A good larger size for porch lights at 12 1/2 inches high, 6 inches wide and a projection of 8 1/2 inches
