This vintage 1920s masterpiece ceiling fixture is made of solid cast bronze and is very heavy in both weight and visual appeal. The Spanish sailing ship Sana Maria surrounds the main body of the fixture with 3 flags atop each ship symbolizing the 3 ships in Christopher Columbus voyage across the Atlantic. The arms holding the socket bells are designed to mimic the bowsprit of a ship, containing the Nautical theme of the fixture
Found it its original finish and patina. Original polychrome paint of reds and greens against a background of gold, tans and browns bring out the detailing of the expertly cast bronze pieces.
The 6 light bulbs original to the fixture can be included but no guarantee to how long they will work.
