An exuberant display of the creative genius found during the Art Deco period. Both these vintage sconce backs and especially the slip shades are embellished with stylized organic flora symbolizing the optimism of rebirth following the great depression. There also seems to be a slight nautilus feel in the edges of the shade and the repeating wave like patterns along the sides of the back. Original nickel finish has been polished to a nice sheen.
