This unique bottom shade for an antique slip shade lighting fixture from the Consolidated Glass Co. has 5 small glass tabs which hold it in place. This piece has 2 of those glass tabs rebuilt with high strength epoxy. There is also a small chip out of the outer rim.
The shade retains a nice color overall and the color gradually darkens a little near the point. |
