The antique Art Deco globes, commonly called "Blue Ice or Ice Blue" introduces a cool blue atmosphere to the decor when lit. The blue color fades somewhat when lit but a fabulous blue shines when not lit. There are several variations of this globe from the 30s, some conical, some more square, but all share a link to the Art Deco period of design and style. These vintage Deco light fixtures would have originally been found in hotel lobbies, auto dealerships, department stores, or banks but now are right at home, well, in a home. Great for kitchens or baths. What great lighting for a master bedroom!
Antique ceiling canopy in original copper really snaps the blue.
Globe itself is 14 inches by 14 inches, shown with a 12 inch drop on the fitter.
Total drop with chain 25 inches as shown which can be adjusted.
