Vintage 1920s to early 1930s antique ceiling chandelier. This 5 up bulb ceiling light fixture is made of cast iron . Commonly called the "Dogs Head" series because of the stylized animal head adorning the chain medallion and cast into the bottom of the fixture body. This lighting series was made by the Virden Co. Milwaukee and includes 3 light chandeliers, wall sconces, ceiling pendant lights, flush mount ceiling fixtures and porch lights. Most of these can be seen in the for sale or sold section of this website.
Fixture has been refinished in one of the original color scheme of antique bronze.
