6 inch vintage "dental globe" from Holophane. As the name implies these were designed and used in dentists offices. This lighting fixture is shown a new polished nickel fitter. The glass has a couple of small chips on the exterior ribbing, common on these globes as the outside of the glass has pyramid shaped ribs which are easily chipped. The ribs on the inside and the outside of the fixture help create the unique look you get from Holophane glass.
