Amazing to find a 1920s/1930s porch light in this wonderful of condition. All original pebble glass pieces intact. It must have been used indoors, since it came from Ohio, as the finish and patina look to be in their original condition. The hammered textured body of the shade and ceiling canopy was done to mimic the bark of a tree and along with the diagonal pieces of lead came across the original pebble glass panels gives it the whimsical character of a Hansel & Gretel cottage (hence the term "storybook style").
Larger than most of this type of porch light with just the shade portion (including the loop at the top of the witches hat) 12 1/2 inches high.
