Holophane shades are known for their incredible clarity and shine. They sparkle when lit like no other, probably one reason Holophane is still in business today. They have patented prismatic ribs all along the inside and outside which softens and diffuses the harsh light produced by light bulbs, causing the refracted light to be pleasing to the eye. There are also bands of wavy rings on the inside upper third of each shade. Holophane was the industry leader on light refracting technology and each rib of glass is precisely place to disperse the light in exactly the manner wanted.
These came out of their gym and can handle up to 250 watts each.
The shade itself is only is 10 inches high.
Perfect for today's modern kitchens or baths.
Shown on a new nickel pole fitter.
We have a couple of options for mounting the shades including pole or chain hung in Nickel. No additional charge for any option up to a 24 inch drop.
Rewired to UL standards and comes with a heavy duty mounting bracket (except the original flush mount fitter).
