Nice to find an undamaged blue/green porcelain fixture with a period subway tile shade. The pattern on the shade was designed to complement white field wall tiles typically found on wainscoting, where the tiles were laid horizontally and each row overlapped the adjacent row by 1/2 the length of the tile. The color was made to match either field or trim tile in a 1920s - 1930s bathroom or kitchen, or possibly other porcelain fixtures such as the sink or toilet.
Wonderful addition to any vintage or new bungalow bath or kitchen.
75 watt max.
