From the Virden Co., Milwaukee, comes these early '30s antique wall sconces which show an influence from several of the popular styles of their day: Craftsman, Spanish Revival, Tudor, Storybook, and even some Victorian. Because they were designed to appeal to a wide variety of tastes it is difficult restrain them to just one style genre. However, because of their color, they look particularly awesome in an Arts & Crafts, Craftsman, or Bungalow interior.
Made of cast aluminum and refinished in the original copper color. The amber shades are in excellent condition with no visible chips and no cracks. The bottom of the shade is clear to disperse more light downward.
