Just after the opening of deco inspired Chrysler Building in 1930 and The Empire State Building in 1931, the "skyscraper" became a defining design element in the early 30s. Here is a pair of white porcelain sconces which fall under that category.
Both sconces have what are know as "none-terminal" old cracks which means the cracks should not spread and cause the death of the piece. And from their color they have been there for a long time. Both are seen in the last 2 images.
